Top and halfskirt set created for draping class. An austere ‘packable prison,’ constructed from heavy potter’s canvas treated with cold dye and a spray paint finish. Deconstructs into two packables halves when snaps are disengaged. Features kick pleats at waist to accommodate the human form. Large darts and interfacing create stiff partitions from bust to waist and emphasize the rigid nature of the fabric - a true love letter to brutalist architecture.
